Rose Hips are fruits that grow on certain species of wild rose plants in parts of Europe, Africa and Asia. The particular genus and species of the rose hips in our product is Rosa Canina, or as it is commonly known, Dog Rose. The fruits or hips of the plant are harvested by hand by the local indigenous people, are dried, and then grinded into a powder to become the product that is Huff's Dog Rose. There are no preservatives, no artificial colors or ingredients of any kind. Just 100% pure, organic, Rosa Canina from Africa.

The rose hip, also called rose hep or rose haw, is the fruit of a rose plant, which usually is red-to-orange (as is the case with our rose hip formula), however, ranges from dark purple to black in certain species. Rose hip begins to form after efficacious pollination to flowers in late spring or early summer and become fully grown in late summer through fall.
Rose hip has a ton of Vitamin C, in fact, it has 50% more Vitamin C than an orange! Due to the high vitamin C content, rose hips are an incredible immune system booster and are used as a supplement in order to prevent sickness or disease.
